From the moment I spoke to Alex I knew that he would be the photographer to capture not only our wedding day, but our love story! Out of all the photographers Alex was the ONLY one to ask what kind of photos we wanted. Photography is so much more than a job for Alex. His talent & passion for photography is truly admirable! It’s so evident that he genuinely cares about each and every couple that he works with. He has a gift for seeing things differently than everyone else and for taking the most incredible pictures! We booked Alex for our wedding and we were certainly NOT disappointed. From the moment we had our telephone appointment with Alex we knew he was the photographer we wanted as speaking to him, he went over all our fine details as what we wanted for the day and Alex was happy to oblige. He kept in touch from booking him through to the wedding day. The day itself Alex arrived in plenty of time and was friendly and outgoing with us and the guests. Alex was so professional in sending all the paperwork and contracts promptly, asking all the relevant questions so we didn't have to think about anything. His creative artwork is what initially drew us in and we were not disappointed - riding unicorns and slaying dragons - the wedding of our dreams came to life in print. Alex and Clare are clearly passionate about what they do, paying attention to detail without being intrusive on the day - they were understanding that we wanted to spend more focus on fun and spending time with family than getting everyone grouped for shots - the range of photos that we got back and the quality of the composition and lighting were fantastic. Alex and Clare photographed our wedding in may and they were absolutely fantastic and captured from bridal prep to first dance. Communication was excellent and they were really lovely people and easy to get along with. The photos are just amazing and magical and they captured more than we could ever think of and even got in different positions and even let me niece and my friends son throw bean bags at him to get the perfect shot. The creative wedding art was just amazing and so talented. I love all the formal and non formal photos and they were both absolutely amazing with the kids and got everybody involved. They were so efficient with the group shots as well allowing us to enjoy more time of the wedding. We got a sneak peak the next day and our photos arrived within 4 weeks which I think is amazing with how amazing the photos are. My partner and I have never been that confident in front of a camera lens but Alex and Clare made it so relaxed that it felt okay to be a little weird and also quite natural to goof around in front of a camera. Alex has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process from booking until receiving our photos. His communication is second to none. On our Wedding day, he went above and beyond to capture the most perfect photos of us, even climbing through a long, grassy field and lying in the muddy ground. We had so many amazing comments about how great he was with all the children who attended, he really did get the most amazing photos of them and we all know how difficult that can be. He was patient with everyone and never once rushed us, even when things were running behind towards the end of his time with us. Both myself and my husband aren’t keen on having our photos taken and yet he managed to take photos that we both absolutely love! He really was the perfect person for us. From the moment we booked Alex, Martin and I knew we had booked the right photographer for us. Alex was so easy to chat with and was so patient and caring when we needed to change our original date due to covid.
On the day of our wedding Alex arrived at the exact time we had agreed on, he introduced himself and his wife Clare and then got to work straight away snapping photos as the morning unfolded. Even after the ceremony when the rain began to pour Clare made sure she grabbed the train of my dress from the floor as we ran inside so it didn’t get wet.
I cannot express enough how lovely Alex and Clare both are and as the day went on my little cousin took a shine to Alex and his camera. Alex took the time to show him how it worked and even let him snap a few photos. He made everyone feel relaxed.

Where do I begin! Alex and Clare are an incredible team. Couldn’t fault these photographers at all not only did 2 off them arrive on my wedding day, they were brilliant capturing every single moment not missing any details at all. Everyone has mentioned how they can’t wait to see our photos because they were everywhere capturing great memories on top of this they were both so lovely! Alex and Clare photographed our wedding back in August And we couldn’t have been happier. We were a little anxious as we were having our three dogs at our wedding and therefore wanted some great shots of us and the dogs as well as the normal photos, but Alex and Clare couldn’t have been any better. From the start of the day they both brought a very calming, relaxing and hilarious presence to our day. My wife and I are not the most comfortable of people in front of the lens, but Alex and Clare made us feel extremely relaxed. They went above and beyond for us, working an extremely long day in order to capture some great moments from our wedding reception. They even managed to video a few moments of our day to get us some fantastic extra memories. We later received all our photos, in an online gallery as well as a lovely USB stick. Upon looking at all of our photos, we were absolutely blown away; the quality is exceptional and they have managed to capture some very beautiful intimate moments from the day. We got a little bit lucky with a very nice sunset, which allowed Alex to use his incredible vision and work some magic to get a beautiful silhouette shot of us both. Overall, we could not recommend Alex and Clare enough, they deserve every good review and award they win. They are nothing short of exceptional. Thank you!
Me and my husband have absolutely no hesitations about recommending Alex and his fabulous assistant Clare. They are both truly lovely people and a joy to work with and have at our wedding.
We were due to get married peak pandemic 4/4/20 however it all got totally chaotic and Alex worked with us through rescheduling, date conflicts, refunds, repaying again. 🤦♀️
In the end we had a mini covid wedding and a big wedding. Alex was the photographer for both. He was amazing working with us to accommodate the mini wedding with all covid precautions – we also got lots of photo time to complete his ABSOLUTE MASTER PIECES with photo shop.
Then we went to big wedding where he was able to capture some of my favourite candid shots and was able to coral my ridiculous family for group shots. He was also happy to take ideas and get creative.
We found them through a Facebook ad, so if you found him that way you should definitely feel comfortable booking ❤️ I’m so pleased we did ❤️

Simply amazing! What can I say… The whole experience with Alex was amazing from start to finish, I absolutely HATE having my picture taken but my husband had a prior meeting with Alex and let him know that we have a crazy sense of humour and we do not take ourselves seriously and Alex used this to his advantage and had a good laugh and a joke with me to keep me calm and made me feel at ease, he knew exactly where to stand us to get the best pictures of us and capture our venue’s character and he understood exactly how to make the best of our venue with the lighting to capture the theme of our vintage wedding. He was not afraid to take his time to tweak things to get a beautiful picture and he even incorporated my family to help with the lighting which they really enjoyed. I adore how he gave us the space to enjoy time with our guests and took so many beautiful natural photographs and for those intimate moments that we usually find awkward to be photographed for, he made them feel ‘less awkward’ and the results speak for themselves. He listened to our requests that we didn’t want too many ‘posed family pictures’ as we wanted to see our guests in a natural way and it wasn’t only us that enjoyed our photographs but our guests loved to re-live those moments with us. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful experience and we have memories to treasure forever. We loved the experience so much that we booked Alex again for a family photoshoot and he delivered yet again!!

Me and my partner both have adhd and struggle threw day to day lives never mind our wedding day! Despite some minor ups and downs it was a magical day and I can truly treasure every moment now thanks to alex and his amazing photography skill. They were both very kind and patient with us threw out the entire day, and made everyone feel at ease. We were taken round drayton manor for our photo shoot and Alex made sure to make the absolute most of every little detail to make sure we had the best photos possible from the perfect spots in the park to the perfect pose to match Alex didn’t miss a beat! I didn’t have one doubt threwout the whole day about how amazing my photos would be, and they are Fabulous! The 1 most important lesson I took from my wedding experience is have a good photographer! Alex caught every magical moment of the whole day and his skills are out of this world!!
It can be really difficult to know what to do when it comes to hiring you wedding photographer but I’ll save you the hassle and go with Alex! (You will definitely not regret it!) And then on top of that his creative art work!
I wish I had more done they are spectacular!!! Where to even find the words to describe them? They are EPIC!

If we could give a higher rating we would in a heart beat with no hesitation. Alex and Clare were such a fun and comfortable part of our wedding day in November 2021.The entire process of planning a wedding is daunting for couples even without the added strains and challenges that a global pandemic adds, however throughout our preparations the one thing we felt totally at ease with was the knowledge that our photography was in safe hands.
Alex worked with us to move our dates when we had to make the choice to postpone, he supported me in making sure I got photos that I didn’t think were possible but were incredibly important to me- (every family has friction and mine is no different) Alex made sure that not only did I get those moments captured but they were done in such a natural and easy going way that everyone was comfortable and it really shows in our photos.
Not only are we ecstatic with our finished photos but we were so impressed with how wonderful Alex and Clare were with all of our guests but the children in particular. The children had so much fun with them and it shows in the photos that we now cherish.

Alex and Clare were beyond amazing!!
First of all they were so lovely, making us immediately feel at ease and we were laughing and joking before we’d even officially begun. Second of all, Alex had actually researched about some of the traditions that we had prior to the day which really impressed me and on the day he went beyond the call of duty to get us cool pictures, (including at one point laying down on the dance floor.) He made plenty of time to speak to us in advance and answer a billion questions and nothing was too much trouble. Finally and also very importantly, the pictures were incredible and delivered in good time. I could go on on but basically, they’re awesome and I highly recommend them!

We met Alex at the only wedding fair we visited and knew straight away that we’d love him to photograph our special day. As with many weddings this year, we had to make changes to ours. First of all thank you for taking images at my Daughter Trudi & son in law Carltons big day at Kenwood Hall. Alex & Clare are a lovely couple and a brilliant team, it was a pleasure to meet them. Very professional in organising traditional ‘wedding shots’ & inobtrusive capturing natural in the moment shots, nothing was too much trouble for them & checked at regular intervals Trudi & Carlton were happy with pose’s & was there any other images they wanted. Alex photographed our wedding Sunday and wow, he was fantastic!! We found him quite close to the wedding but straight away fell in love with his work and knew he was the photographer for us! On the day, he was professional, friendly and just fantastic. He made us feel comfortable and offered advice about timings etc when asked. He also worked extremely well along side our videographer which again, put me, my groom, bridesmaids and ushers at complete ease. People actually thought they knew each other and worked together anyway. He was so quick at getting the group photos done & ensured he’d captured everything we wanted. He even got his camera out as he was leaving as he saw a great photo opportunity of the groom and his ushers. He was a perfectionist & made sure the lighting and pose was perfect for the end result. We can’t wait to see the final photos and we are extremely grateful we found him!

REAL WEDDINGS! AMAZING MEMORIES!
After receiving our final gallery today from Alex after he photographed our wedding on the 03/02/18 all I can say is … WOW. Alex is one of the nicest and calmest photographer that we could have asked for. He arrived early in the morning and left late in the evening. Completely putting our wedding party at easy. Alex took the most beautiful natural photo ,which met the brief that we had given him. Alex went above and beyond to make sure we had stunning photographs despite the rain. He got the whole wedding party involved and really was a star with our young guests. It takes a lot of trust picking a photographer to capture your special day, however I would not hesitate recommending Alex in a heart beat. On the Wedding Day he was superb, willing to take any photo requested on top of the ones he had already planned for the special day, a very nice guy.

Alex was fantastic throughout the whole of our wedding. His attention to detail and getting those perfect shots was incredible, it truly shows how much he loves photography. He has an excellent manner and makes adults feel at ease helping them relax during photos. He was also amazing with the younger guests making them laugh and getting them involved with the camera. Alex also has an excellent way of capturing natural photographs, quite often we didn’t even notice he was there.

My wife and I were married at the wonderful Coltsfoot Country Retreat, Hertfordshire on 27th August 2017.
